as kids* we are much better off, in the sense that our goals are usually like -
i want to be an astronaut, a writer, a painter and ______ [fill in the blank]
[going by the indian system]
one fine day, we become this 'someone' [goal #1], or 'someone else' [if goal #1 not met]
but what after that ?
by the time one grows up, everything we thought of 'back then', has changed by 'now'......and goals become increasingly subjective - i want peace, i want time, i want love, i want happiness etc etc.......and the rest all becomes mere mediums to reach these goals, or worse still, just for a living.
growing up.
*ignorance is bliss.
**how does one keep it all simple ALWAYS**

Deep down inside everyone is 10 years old.
1) there is nothing like "indian System'..ok..
2) It's like this..when u were a kid....cud u see teh cookie jar on the almirah?? U always wanted it right!!?? Then u grew up and saw that u cud reach it... now u want to touch the roof... The cookie jar was a simple goal..reaching for something more abstract is coz now u know that u have to go beyond...dunno where..but just beyond this field of vision. This is teh 'SUJECTIVITY' u r referring to....it is just maturing of goals...ur thot process...with experience...everything changes : )
