i know what a support system is.
i understand it is [probably] essential to have a support system.
i have been often told one must have one.
i have often realised i don't have one [by choice?].
i also realise i keep dwindling between 'do i need one/ want one'.
i am far too aware of the meaning of the word 'self-reliant'.
i am also aware of the downside of the same word.
so in theory, if someone would ask me, should one develop a support system, i'd say, yeah....it's the ideal thing to do.
and then, theory is simple. always.
so thought for the day - develop a support system
question for the day - do you have a support system
for now i'd say Amen to that.

Support System. Hmmmm.
I'm not really sure about what a support system is. A set of special people who interact with each other and remain in informal correspondence for mutual comfort/assistance/refuge? If this is how you define a support system then I think I have one too.
Support Systems can be of various kinds. Few listed below:
a. Life Support System
b. Decision Support System
c. Talent Support System
d. Balance Support System [incase one falls]
e. etc.
Do these support systems have a downside? Nopes.
How does one develop a good SS? Good question. No book available which teaches us how? Atleast none that I know of. Is there a "Support Systems for Dummies" book? Maybe I should write one.
: )
Self Note #1: I know that whatever I just wrote above won't really make any sense once I read it again.
Self Note #2: Reviewed what I just wrote above. Self Note #1 is now confirmed.
vital question -
is thr to be 1 single support system [all in one miracle] or would thr be different sets for different support types...
i think we all [most of us] have the latter type...
i guess i was thinking of the single one kinds. one rock to fall back on, one life-decision-balance-etc system. ofcourse this could just be in theory and never really possible..but this was the original thought of the post.
ps - how does one develop a good SS is directly proportional to one's own willingness. example - you may have an excellent S which could become a SS, but you don't want to allow yourself that [reasons not be bothered with here]
You dont have a SS coz u dont need one... the day u really need one..u will get one... doesnt matter from where...coz no1 can predict... I cudnt predict till I got addicted to it ... as in addicted to requiring a SS.
So dont worry...
WHEN U REQUIRE IT
U WILL GET 'IT'...
Chill : )
